Finding the right real estate agent is an important step. It is like you are making a hiring decision. Reach agreement on expectations before you decide who to work with and then remain loyal to that Agent. Buying and Selling Homes involves one of the most expensive and complicated transactions many people will ever experience. Your success will partly depend on who you have on your side.
First, Florida Real Estate has become more complicated. It's a new day. Much of what worked before the market turned is obsolete today. Of course, the need for Ethics remains. You need an agent ready, capable, and most importantly adapted to current market conditions in the Tampa Bay area. I do that every day in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and, Hernando Counties.
Second, you want either the highest price or the lowest one. Buyers and Sellers are entitled to different objectives. I represent Sellers and Buyers and am a trained Negotiator.
